Velat Nol was a planet located somewhere in the space of the Milky Way's Alpha or Beta Quadrants, the location of a Bajoran colony.[1]
History and specifics[]
The colony was one of three such Bajoran settlements established in the 23rd century. It was further from Bajor than Gelladorn but not as far as Pillagra. The colony was later attacked by the Ascendants and its inhabitants were killed. (TOS novel: Allegiance in Exile)
After the Ascendants invaded the Alpha Quadrant in 2377, the Deep Space 9 crew matched them to the destroyers of Velat Nol in Starfleet records. (DS9 novel: Ascendance)
