For other uses, see USS Tecumseh.

The USS Tecumseh (NCC-4402) was a Federation Larson-class class VIII destroyer starship in service to Starfleet in the 23rd century.

The Tecumseh was built to Mk I specifications and entered service around reference stardate 1/9709. She was later refitted to Mk II specifications around stardate 1/9901.

Around stardate 2/0208, the Tecumseh was part of a small detachment of destroyers that was sent into an uncontrolled area near the Romulan Neutral Zone. When Starfleet failed to establish contact with the task force they dispatched a rescue fleet to the region but was unable to locate anything but a damaged warp nacelle belonging to the USS Alesia. Although Starfleet believed the Romulans were responsible, no action was taken. (FASA RPG module: Federation Ship Recognition Manual)
