That same year, following the near-destruction of the da Vinci at Galvan VI, Rusconi took leave on Luna, where she had a bizarre experience with an interdimensional portal. (SCE eBook: Breakdowns)

Upon her return to the da Vinci, she was reassigned as beta-shift conn officer, replacing the late Lieutenant Elleth Deo. (SCE eBooks: The Demon, Book 1, The Demon, Book 2)
