Omicron Lyrae was a star system visible from Earth within the constellation of Lyra in the galaxy's Alpha Quadrant.

The system's orbit was the location of at least six planets, including sixth planet Lyra Omicron VI. (TOS novel: Ghost-Walker)
The Ankeshtan K'til Vulcan rehabilitation center was located on a moon of one of the system's worlds, Omicron Lyrae. (SNW episode: "The Serene Squall")
- In 21st century astronomy, the Bayer system of stellar nomenclature had yet to designate a 15th (omicron) star within the Lyra constellation. Omicron Lyrae's quadrant location was derived from the constellation propagating in the Alpha Quadrant in ST reference: Star Charts.
