For other uses, see Corsair.

The OSS Corsair was a 25th century Orion starship, the tier 4-rated Corsair-class flight-deck carrier prototype in Orion Syndicate and Imperial Klingon Defense Force service in the 2400s and 2410s decades. (STO - Duties of Command mission: "The Hunt is On")

Service history[]

The OSS Corsair was among the starships whose class design the Orions shared with the Klingon Empire. This vessel was equipped with disruptor beam arrays and a hangar bay loaded with Orion interceptors. It was an evolution of the tier 3-rated Dacoit-class flight-deck carrier hull. (STO - Duties of Command mission: "The Hunt is On")

From 2410 onwards, the Corsair represented its class on the shipyards interfaces operated by New Romulus Shipyards, Klingon Defense Force Order of Builders and Starfleet Shipyards Operations at Khitomer Alliance facilities across the Milky Way Galaxy. (STO - The Iconian War missions: "Explore the Flotilla", "The Hunt is On", "Welcome to Earth Spacedock")

Flag officers of the Alliance could deploy the Corsair alongside other spacecraft for assignments across the galaxy's quadrants as part of Operation: Delta Rising's four-quadrant strategy. (STO - New Dawn mission: "Admiralty System")
