The Larami Corporation was a novelty toy company purchased by Hasbro in 1995. They produced the Larami Comic Strips series in 1979.

Background[]

Larami produced inexpensive rack toys not only for Star Trek, but also for such properties as Planet of the Apes, Space: 1999, Battlestar Galactica, Flash Gordon and Land of the Lost. They also produced toys licensed from Marvel Comics and DC Comics.

In 1979, the company produced toys branded for TOS movie: The Motion Picture. Their Star Trek lineup included plastic guns, putty, puzzles, sunglasses, wallets and the Larami Comic Strips series.
