Kryton

Kryton was an Elasian male who lived during the 23rd century. He was member of the guard assigned to protect Elaan, the Dohlman of Elas, with whom he was in love.

He was also an enemy agent, having conspired with the Klingons to sabotage the USS Enterprise in 2268. When he was apprehended by the ship's security personnel, he committed suicide by vaporizing himself with a type-2 phaser. (TOS episode: "Elaan of Troyius")
