The IRW Llaihr and its sister ships were based on the Dhelan-class warbird. The Tal Shiar enhanced the Dhelan-class with adapted Borg technology to construct the Llaihr. This ship was in orbit of a planet at some point in 2409. The Llaihr was a tactical starship but was equipped with the sensor analysis functionality. Sensor analysis was a technology typically available to science vessels and unavailable to tactical vessels in the year 2409. (STO - From the Ashes mission: "Explore the Flotilla")
Part of the ship's arsenal, which became standard for its class, was a shrapnel torpedo launcher. These warheads fractured into smaller, self-propelled projectiles after firing. The Llaihr was also equipped with the so-called Tal Shiar adapted Borg warp core. This warp core powered the ship's regeneration abilities and provided additional energy to auxiliary power systems.
