Da'Kel III was a temperate planet in the Mempa sector colonized by the Klingons. It was orbited by a utility platform, loS pagh loS, which served as the sole staging area for relief efforts following the destruction of Praxis in 2293.

In 2300, the colony on Da'Kel III was obliterated by an isolytic subspace weapon detonated in proximity to the planet by Kriosian terrorists, The Thorn. (TOS novel: Cast No Shadow)
