Bobby Thomson was a Human baseball player of the 20th century who was known for hitting a home run that became known as "the Shot Heard Around the World".

Biography[]

Thomson played for the New York Giants.

Doctor Paul Stubbs also had vivid memories of that game, which he recounted to Wesley Crusher. (TNG episode: "Evolution")

In the year 2371, Benjamin Sisko and Jake Sisko saw that the crew of the USS McAuliffe had created a holodeck program featuring Bobby Thomson. Jake later watched the hologram of Thomson hit the famous home run. (DS9 - Special comic: "Frozen Boyhood")
