The Bajoran liaison officer was the Bajoran Militia representative of Bajor to the United Federation of Planets aboard Deep Space 9. Kira Nerys held this position from 2369 to 2376. (DS9 episode: "Emissary")

By April 2376 Wayeh Surt had taken on the role, however in that month his wife was killed in a Jem'Hadar attack on the station. Wayeh offered to stay on the station to help in the aftermath of the attack, but Kira insisted he return to Bajor to grieve with his children, taking indefinite leave. Subsequently Kira took on the responsibilities of the liaison officer once again until a replacement could be found. (DS9 - Avatar novel: Book One)

In 2376, Major Cenn Desca was assigned as the new Bajoran liaison officer. (DS9 novel: Bajor: Fragments and Omens)

Aleco Vel was assigned the liaison position in 2386. (DS9 novel: Ascendance)
