- The Line of Tellus publicly denounces the Praetor of the Romulan Star Empire Tal'Aura and withdraw their members from government service.[1]

- January: Near the end of the month, Praetor Tal'Aura dies due to the brain aneurysm Velderix Riehn'va. She was secretly infected with this condition by the Tzenkethi.[2]
- February: Gell Kamemor is chosen as the next Praetor.[2]
- End of February/ start of March: Praetor Gell Kamemor grants Spock an audience where she states that she does not want any public speech, including the Reunification movement, to be criminalized .[2]
