The USS Cuyahoga was a Federation starship operated by Starfleet during the 32nd century.
In 3189, the Cuyahoga reported Emerald Chain ships in the Sigma Draconis system. (DIS: "Die Trying")
Chief of security Lieutenant Audrey Willa would later report to Fleet Admiral Charles Vance that the Cuyahoga had returned to Federation Headquarters. Vance ordered Willa to tell the Cuyahoga's crew to clear the ship before commencing a baryon sweep. (DIS: "Scavengers")
In 3190, J'Vini stole a shipment of dilithium from the Cuyahoga, the second of four identical thefts she would commit. (DIS: "Choose to Live")
Episode writer Sean Cochran likely named this ship after his home county in Ohio.
In the second edition of Eaglemoss/Hero Collector's Star Trek: Shipyards - Starfleet Ships 2294 to the Future, this ship was identified as an Eisenberg-class starship with the registry NCC-325069.
Concept art for DIS: "Erigah" depicted the Cuyahoga (NCC-325069) as an Eisenberg-class ship, and as one of the four warp signatures coming to aid Federation Headquarters against the Breen, though VFX changed the graphic by the final episode. [1]
