Name[]
From the looks of it (just scanning through the Star Trek: Enterprise transcripts), this article might be more suitably placed at Trans-dimensional disturbance. Not advocating moving quite yet, though... just theorizing. --Defiant (talk) 21:26, February 18, 2016 (UTC)
I've now discovered the two articles should indeed be merged. Not only is "spatial disturbance" non-canon (used only in script sources) but the final draft script of "Doctor's Orders" shows that the two terms are interchangeable, with a trans-dimensional disturbance in that episode additionally described as a spatial disturbance in the teleplay. As a result, I strongly recommend we move the info here to the trans-dimensional disturbance article. --Defiant (talk) 20:00, February 19, 2016 (UTC)
Removed[]
I've removed the following note, as it's irrelevant to this article: "In September 2152, Enterprise, under command of the Takret Militia encountered spatial disturbances while heading into a plasma eddy. (ENT: "The Catwalk")" -- Defiant (talk) 00:19, October 20, 2016 (UTC)
- Spatial disturbance is redirecting to this article. So how is an in-universe reference "irrelevant" to this article when we're trying to be as complete as possible? Tom (talk) 09:42, October 20, 2016 (UTC)
I hadn't noticed that redirect, but I did just before this reply of yours (also rereading the bginfo in this article). Clearly, "spatial disturbance" needs to become its own page (didn't realize there are so many on-screen references to that, but there are), with a bginfo link (and comment) about trans-dimensional disturbances on that new page, saying a trans-dimensional disturbance is "one type" of spatial disturbance (according to the scripts). Sorry for any confusion caused. --Defiant (talk) 09:49, October 20, 2016 (UTC)
No splitting is required, as no info from this page is forming the new one. All that's called for is a new page at "spatial disturbance", which I've now begun. --Defiant (talk) 10:03, October 20, 2016 (UTC)
