I am placing the removed section here.
It is unclear if "Dramia II" was so named to describe the second planet of the Dramian system or if it was the second "Dramia." The reason for this lies in the time and distance which the Enterprise seemed to travel to get to the latter planet. While it was equally unclear if the Enterprise was traveling at warp when it was en route to the Dramia II, it was clear that they were over four hours away, leading Kirk to increase speed to warp 6. If indeed they are in the same system, traveling at warp 6 seems a bit excessive, as when it has been stated in other cases that going to warp in a solar system was typically not a standard practice.
A precedent for a ship going to warp, or even considering going to warp, was established in "Elaan of Troyius". In that episode, it was established that a starship will go to warp in a system if there was a significant distance between planets and as a way to reduce travel time. This was an important plot point in the episode. Petri, the ambassador of Troyius, requested that the ship go slow for he needed to teach the Dohlman of Elas civilized manners, or she would have been rejected by the Troyians.

- KIRK: Mister Chekov, lay in a course for Troyius. Mister Sulu, impulse drive, speed factor point zero three seven.
- SULU: Impulse drive, Captain?
- KIRK: Yes, that's correct, Mister Sulu. Sublight factor point zero three seven.
- SULU: Aye, aye, sir.
- SCOTT: Captain? You'll not be using the warp drive? All the way on impulse? That'll take a great deal of time.
- KIRK: You in a hurry, Mister Scott?
- SCOTT: No.
Troyius was in the same system as Elas. In the animated episode, the crew was working against the clock to prove the innocence of Leonard McCoy and had to use warp in the system.Throwback (talk) 01:59, August 31, 2012 (UTC)
