Steve Race (born 26 May 1973; age 51) is an actor and director who appeared as a Vori commando in the Star Trek: Voyager fourth season episode "Nemesis". As a background actor he received no credit for his appearance but is listed on the call sheets of the episode. He filmed his scenes on Wednesday 18 June 1997, Friday 20 June 1997, and Thursday 26 June 1997 on Paramount Stage 16.

Born on Long Island, New York, Race started as director's assistant in the late 1990s when he worked on several television specials such as The Annual People's Choice Awards, The Annual Academy Awards, The Annual Primetime Emmy Awards, and Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards.

Among his directing credits are The Beach House (2002), the series of Kings and Queens of Freestyle documentaries (2003 and 2006), the series of Latino Comedy Fiesta (2003-2007), the comedy Princess (2003, with Diane and Elaine Klimaszewski), the animated television movie Munch Kidz (2004), the pilot episode of the comedy series Giggles (2004), the television comedy Ten Dollar Ticket (2009), the documentary ESU: In the Line of Duty (2012), and the drama I'm in Love with a Church Girl (2013, with David Jean Thomas).

In addition, Race also worked as writer, cinematographer, camera operator, and producer on several of his directing projects.

More recently, he worked as editor on the comedy series Recycled Babies (2014) and as producer on the television comedy Game, Set & Laugh! (2015).
