Teplan mural
A mural was a type of painting that was applied directly to a wall, as opposed to being done on a canvas or other medium.
Before his death, Ekoria's husband painted a mural on a building close to their home to inspire the other Teplans and show them how their planet used to look prior to the Teplan blight. (DS9: "The Quickening")
When visiting Ornara for Project Swing By, the Cerritos Crew met local magistrate B'Nir and were shown a mural portraying events after the Enterprise left, specifically how they descended into ten to fourteen years of mass panic and violence before eventually evolving into a health and fitness society.
