Jude Ciccolella (born 30 November 1947; age 77), born Richard Jude Ciccolella, is the actor who played Suran in Star Trek Nemesis. He was born on the same day as Nemesis director Stuart Baird.
He has made appearances in many other films, including Morgan Stewart's Coming Home (1987, with JD Cullum), The Shawshank Redemption (1994, with Bill Bolender, Brian Brophy, Clancy Brown, Bob Gunton, Mark Rolston, and William Sadler), Boys on the Side (starring Whoopi Goldberg, Aaron Lustig, Stephen Gevedon, and Mary Anne McGarry), High Crimes (2002, with Ashley Judd, Bruce Davison, and John Billingsley), Down With Love (2002, with Jeri Ryan, Michael Ensign, and Warren Munson), The Terminal (2004, starring Tom Hanks, with Michael Nouri and Zoë Saldana), The Manchurian Candidate (2004, starring Jon Voight, with Charles Napier, Dean Stockwell, and Miguel Ferrer), and Sin City (2005). He also had an uncredited part as Hogan in Million Dollar Baby, which also featured Lucia Rijker, Benito Martinez, Tom McCleister, Jamison Yang, Miguel Perez, Marco Rodriguez, Spice Williams, Rosine "Ace" Hatem, Bridgett Riley, and Boni Yanagisawa.
However, he is probably best known for his role as Mike Novick on 24. He worked with a number of other Star Trek actors, including his Nemesis co-star Alan Dale as well as Penny Johnson, Gregory Itzin, Michelle Forbes, Glenn Morshower, Harris Yulin, and Ray Wise.
He later appeared in the fourth season finale of Boston Legal, starring William Shatner and John Larroquette. Ciccolella's episode, entitled "Patriot Acts", also guest-starred Henry Gibson and Richard McGonagle. He has also appeared in NCIS: New Orleans alongside Scott Bakula.
