J.T. Botka (born 10 October 1952; age 72) is an actor who played a Sikarian in the Star Trek: Voyager first season episode "Prime Factors". As a background actor he received no credit for his appearance and was identified by the call sheet of the episode.
Born as John Timothy Botka in Massachusetts, he attended King Philip Regional High School and Chamberlayne Jr. College in Boston where he graduated with an Associates degree. He worked as freelance graphic designer and photographer in Boston before he moved to Los Angeles in 1986.
He auditioned for an acting part in Full Metal Jacket but did not land the role. Following his move to Los Angeles, he started to work as an actor with featured and supporting roles in The Karate Kid Part III (1989, with Doc Duhame and Marshal Silverman), Class Cruise (1989, with Ray Walston), and an episode of Hardball (1989, with John Carter, Granville Ames, and Nick Dimitri). His first acting work was the Miller Beer television commercial "Think When You Drink" along with Peter Coyote.
Other commercials he worked on include ones for Hallmark Cards (1987), Budweiser (1988), Hyundai (1988), Canon Camera (1988), Orville Redenbacher Popcorn (1989), Burger King (1989), McDonald's (1990), Payless Shoes (1990), Blockbuster Video (1990), Chevy S-10 Truck (1990), Lee Jeans (1990), Sprite (1991), GMC Truck (1992), Miller Lite (1992), Bahlsen Chips (1992), and Sprint (1997).

He also worked as grip in the camera and electrical department on Without a Trace (2006).
