Gram per cubic centimeter (or g/cm3) was a metric unit of density, defined as the mass in grams contained with a volume of cubic centimeters.
Comparative instances of density[]
- The density of planet 892-IV was measured at 5.5 (g/cm3). (TOS: "Bread and Circuses")
- The density of Ockmenic 9 was measured at 5.522 grams per cubic centimeter. (LD: "The Stars At Night")
- The concentrated tricyanate readings on Beta Agni II were measured at 70 grams per cubic centimeter at the source coordinates. It was comparatively much higher than what would normally occur. (TNG: "The Most Toys")
- The density of Beta Praxillus was measured at 1,100 grams per cubic centimeter. (TNG: "Half a Life")
- The walls of the subterranean tunnels on Phylos registered as walls were 600 times denser than lead. (TAS: "The Infinite Vulcan")
With the density of lead being know to be 11.34 g/cm3, then the density of these aforementioned walls would be 6,804 g/cm3.
