Lundberg worked as a layout artist for Filmation from 1969 through 1981. Besides Star Trek, her other Filmation credits include layout work for The Secret Lives of Waldo Kitty (1975-76), The New Adventures of Batman (1977-78), and The New Animated Adventures of Flash Gordon (1979-80). She went on to work for Filmation as a character designer on such shows as Shazam! (1981-82) and She-Ra: Princess of Power (1985) and character design supervisor for the series Blackstar (1981-82). In addition, she was a layout supervisor for the immensely popular He-Man and the Masters of the Universe (1983-85).

For Marvel Productions, Lundberg was a model designer on the animated series G.I. Joe and character designer on 1987's G.I. Joe: The Movie. She then went to work for Hanna-Barbera Productions, where she worked as a background key designer on The Pirates of Dark Water and as a layout artist for the 1993 film Once Upon a Forest. This latter project featured voice work from Star Trek alumni Ben Vereen, Rickey D'Shon Collins, and Paul Eiding and music by James Horner. Fellow TAS layout artist Herb Hazelton was also a layout artist on this film.

Lundberg left The Animation Guild (then known as Motion Picture Screen Cartoonists) in 1997 and passed away ten years later. She was 72 years old.
