Carbon Creek was a small mining town in Pennsylvania in the United States of America. It lay along State Highway 138 and in the Crest Forest Fire District. In 1957, it had a population of approximately 611.
Some of the local businesses:
- Johnnies Market - 23019 Main Street
- Madeline's Cafe
- Pine Tree Bar and Grill - 22960 Main Street
According to T'Pol, in 1957, a small Vulcan vessel crash landed near the town. The vessel's surviving occupants - her second foremother T'Mir, Mestral and Stron - covertly integrated themselves into the town's population for a period, until their rescue.
After moving to Earth in 2149, at some point during her stay, T'Pol took a five-day leave to visit Carbon Creek and see it for herself. (ENT: "Carbon Creek")
In 2382, Lieutenant junior grade Beckett Mariner called herself, D'Vana Tendi, and T'Lyn being stranded on the pre-industrial Dilmer III for a year of relative time "a Carbon Creek situation." (LD: "Fully Dilated")
The exterior scenes for Carbon Creek were filmed near San Bernardino, California, along California State Route 138. (Star Trek Encyclopedia, 4th ed., vol. 1, p. 117)
