Shun Azuma is a pilot hired by the Photon Power Laboratory in the final arc of the Mazinger Z manga. He is part of the Mazinger Army against Dr. Hell, piloting the lanky Baion β (Beta).

Shun is a big burly man. He always have a smile on his face that looks very mischievous but is good at heart.
Personality[]
Shun was a freindly figure, with a good heart and nice personality. He admired Koji Kabuto's skills in battle.
History[]
When first meeting Koji, Shun surprised him so much that Koji quickly drew his gun thinking he was a Mechanical Beast. He complimented Koji on his piloting skills and wished him luck in the coming battle.
Piloting the Baion, he managed to destroy some Mechanical Beasts but was later ambushed destroying the Baion and Shun with it.
