Admin Decision: Name Moved to Death {{{sig}}}

Reading the page as it currently is, it seems it's trying to tell the reader that Rio Vidal is the character's birth name, or original name, or something of the sort, but doesn't it make much more sense if it's just the name that Death takes on during her life on Earth, and her real name is still Death? The opening paragraph also has "Rio Vidal" as the first words, like "Rio Vidal also commonly referred to as Death", but shouldn't it be "Death also referred to as Rio Vidal"? My personal take is that she's definitely Death. she's the cosmic entity "Death", it's likely that Rio Vidal is just an alias. (Edit: additionally, i don't believe she ever called her Rio in the flashback, which might imply its a recent alias?) BearInsanity (talk) 23:45, 31 October 2024 (UTC)

It should be "Death" as her real name, because that's what she is, not a codename. It's not like Tim Allen's The Santa Clause, where a person becomes the entity but still has their name and identity. We can agree that Rio Vidal is an identity she has taken on and is also her, but ultimately, she is Death. - Bozz77 (talk) 00:08, 1 November 2024 (UTC)

Image changed to a screenshot {{{sig}}}

Given the fact the page is named "Death" not "Green Witch", would it not be better to have the infobox image reflect her true form as Death rather than her Green Witch persona? (especially considering Death is a cosmic entity) An image like Lady_Death_1.08.jpg, for example, would suit the page much better (of course a wider version to match other infobox image dimensions). Image Policy states that infobox images should ideally be official character posters. It also states that other images are acceptable if the character has a newer appearance with no character poster depicting it. The image change I suggested shows quite a noticeable difference compared to the current one, and it depicts her true form as Death, therefore I could see this bypassing that preference as justified. I 100% agree with trident. the wiki's made exceptions like this before, and it only makes sense for Death's photo to be her real form, and not a disguise, especially considering it's not clear if she'll ever show up again. BearInsanity (talk) 01:17, 2 November 2024 (UTC)
