Barry Hapgood is the shop class teacher at Midtown School of Science and Technology.
Biography[]
Hapgood was in the middle of "supervising" his students while they worked on their projects and activities. In actuality, Hapgood was solving puzzles in an activity book that he recently became invested in. Unbeknownst to him, however, Peter Parker and Ned Leeds were examining the Chitauri Energy Core that Parker had recently acquired. Their tampering caused a minor disturbance, but Hapgood was unfazed. Still invested in his book, Hapgood simply cautioned his students about their work and continued with his puzzles, none the wiser.[1]

- In the comics, Barry Hapgood was a classmate of Peter Parker. He attended the preunion bash and reunited with Parker where he revealed that despite his expertise in shop class, he ended up becoming an electronics engineer.
