Scorpion is a supervillain.
Biography[]
Peni Parker created an override key to shut down Kingpin's Super Collider. Scorpion, Doctor Octopus, Prowler and Tombstone tracked the Spider-Gang to May Parker's house and fought them. However, Scorpion was knocked out by Spider-Woman.
Later, when the Spider-Gang arrived at Kingpin's lair to stop the Super Collider, Peni was attacked by Scorpion. Scorpion nearly killed Peni. However, Peni was saved by Spider-Ham who was able to defeat the villain.
Background[]
Scorpion is voiced by Joaquin Cosio.
Scorpion's design is vastly different than the one seen in the comics, making it seem like his scorpion look is armor rather than a costume.
This is the first version of Scorpion in film, though Mac Gargan was seen in the Marvel Studios film Spider-Man: Homecoming.
This version speaks Spanish and is apparently Latino. Michael Mando, who played Gargan in Spider-Man: Homecoming, is of Mexican descent.
This version of Scorpion could also loosely be based on the Ultimate version of Scorpion named Maximus Gargan who appeared as a recurring villain in the comic book series Ultimate Comics All-New Spider-Man which starred Miles Morales. In the Ultimate comics Maximus Gargan is a Mexican crime lord that was nicknamed "The Scorpion" by those that feared him.
