Desperate after the M-Day effect, the religious Henry McCoy was affected by God-like vision he interpreted as a sign that the hope of the mutantkind was in the Terrigen Mists and came to the Inhumans.
They offered him their condolences, but he was denied the access to the mists by Medusa, stating that there was only pain for the mutants who would come from the mists, leaving him devastated in the Throne Room.
Triton, Karnak and Gorgon observed the scene and were visibly affected by McCoy's pain.
One of his counterparts and Doctor Strange witnessed this scene.[citation needed]
