History
Jean Grey pretended to be a boy, "John Grey", to be able to attend Carlos Javier's school. Javier and all of her fellow students (save for the newest member Angel who was completely fooled), were aware of that ruse.[1]
Potentially the most powerful of Javier's students, she exhausted herself when she had to carry a ship a long distance and perished from internal bleeding cause by the strain, her last wish was to die as a woman.[2]
Her body was flown into the air by Jonathan Storm and then destroyed by Scotius Sumerisle. Angel, who loved her while believing her to be a man at the time,[3] believed he saw a bird shaped image emerge from the fire and ashes.[1]Attributes
