Black Brother (Joshua) (Earth-616)

Once a political activist, the man known as Joshua became the young governor of a province in the newly formed African state of Orbia. Unfortunately, Orbia's government was wracked with corruption, which allowed both the country's petroleum deposits and its general populace to be exploited. Joshua's opposition to these acts resulted in a conspiracy to ruin his reputation, which succeeded with the help of his own wife Belle, who had only married him for the wealth she had expected him to obtain as governor. Although he managed to survive an assassination attempt, Joshua otherwise found himself powerless, betrayed by everyone around him. He fell out of sight following these events, and his current whereabouts and activities since then, if any, are unknown.
