Albert Cleary joined Damage Control only a little later than most of its crew. He became their comptroller.^[2]

• Cleary's profile in Damage Control #2 claims that his birthplace is Atlanta, Georgia. However, in Damage Control (Vol. 3) #3, Cleary says that he was born in Grosse Point (probably Michigan).
