Sentient Weapon Observation Response Division

Sentient Weapon Observation Response Division (S.W.O.R.D.) is a government organization that was founded by Maria Rambeau. It's primary focus is manned missions and extraterrestrial operations dedicated to observe and react to sentient weapons.

S.W.O.R.D. was founded by Maria Rambeau sometime after 1995, to observe both extra-terrestrial and terrestrial weaponry.

After being discovered by S.W.O.R.D., Jimmy Woo was captured by them and brought to Tyler Hayward at the retreat base.

While no one was watching, Jimmy grabbed a phone, after which, he told Hayward that he would not be able to cover up his actions, but Hayward stated that there was no evidence of more than one Vision, when Jimmy pointed out there was evidence of his crimes, Hayward claimed that no one would care about the crimes he committed once he eliminated Wanda, as they would believe that the Vision that emerged from Westview Anomaly, was the same that she tried to illegally bring back to life.

Hayward claimed they would thank him for rescuing such a valuable asset and that Jimmy could be part of that victory, but he refused, revealing that FBI would be arriving and they would bring an end to Hayward's plans; which was actually a bluff.

Hayward (arrogantly) didn't take Jimmy's threat very seriously, after which, he was then locked away, but Jimmy managed to get out of his handcuffs using a safety pin that he had in his pocket. He then used the phone that he had stolen right under S.W.O.R.D.'s nose to call his co-worker, Cliff, Jimmy informed him of Hayward's illegal activities and asked him to send a team of FBI agents to Westview inside of the hour.

After the Hex had opened up, Hayward and his agents surrounded Wanda Maximoff, Vision, Billy Maximoff and Tommy Maximoff. Hayward witnessed Wanda leaving to fight Agatha Harkness, leaving her boys to tend to his agents, but became angry after his agents got outsmarted by the boys.

Hayward aimed his gun at the two boys, firing at Billy and Tommy. However, the shots were stopped by Monica Rambeau who stepped out in front of the boys; except one bullet went past her, but was thrown to the ground by Billy.

Hayward jumped into the Humvee and prepared to drive into them, but his Humvee got rammed into by a food truck driven by Darcy Lewis.

After Wanda Maximoff removed the hex, Jimmy led the FBI and police in the aftermath cleanup and arrested Hayward for his crimes.

Trivia[]

• In an alternate ending of Thor, Erik Selvig and Jane Foster along with S.H.I.E.L.D. employees Jasper Sitwell and other agents attempt to create a portal so that Thor can find his way back to Earth. It is mentioned that they are working off of the "Foster Theory" and that they will running simulations on wormholes with the S.H.I.E.L.D. astrophysical records and the S.W.O.R.D. database.
