The Standard SG is a kart owned by Shy Guy, used in Mario Kart DS. It can only be driven in DS Download Play, as Shy Guy is only playable there by the DS Download Players without a Game Cartridge.

The Standard SG has the standard kart frame and comes in multiple, randomly chosen colors that correspond to the color of the Shy Guy driving it.

The Standard SG has identical stats to the Standard YS. Just like the Standard YS, it has great acceleration and handling, low drift, above-average speed, and a very long Mini-Turbo. Thus, this kart drives effectively and can even snake well, and provides a solid kart choice for those who do not own the game.
