Yarn Balls are the main type of projectile found in Yoshi's Woolly World. They serve as a replacement for the Yoshi Eggs found in many other games in the Yoshi series. They can only be obtained by eating an enemy or obtaining them from Yarn Blocks. A larger version of the Yarn Balls, called the Big Yarn Ball, can also occasionally be obtained in levels.
