Toad Scramble is a mode where players compete to win the most stars. Toad Scramble appears in Mario Party: Star Rush.
In Mario Party: Star Rush[]
Four players begin at the starting point with a Toad that corresponds to the player's color. Players roll the die and move anywhere with a limited number. Players can land on boss spaces and fight in a battle to gain Stars or coins.
Players can recruit allies by arriving at their space. Every ally has unique abilities on the board (i.e. Mario stomp Goombas, Peach blooming flowers) that help the player gain coins. Allies also have their own Dice Blocks; their Dice Blocks either increase the number of space, gain coins or lose coins.[1] In boss minigames, allies join players to help the player gain points faster; it can increase the chances of the player winning the minigame. Two players may duel each other if either of the players have allies.
After players cleared boss battles on the board, the game tallies the number of Stars. The game gives Bonus Stars out of one of the three bonuses (Wanderer, Loner, Slowpoke, Sightseer, Item, Balloon, Duel, Champion) and the Lucky Ally Bonuses. After the players are give the Bonus Stars, their coins are converted into stars. The game reveals the winner and the winner receives the Star Rush or Super Star Rush ranks depending on the amount of stars.
