—Wario: Master of Disguise

The Sphinx is a character that appears in Wario: Master of Disguise. He is the guardian of the Smithsnorian Museum.

History[]

The Sphinx is first seen after Wario and Goodstyle stumble upon him after searching through the Smithsnorian Museum. They were hoping to get the whereabouts of the Wishstone pieces, but the Sphinx refuses to tell them until after they prove themselves worthy by finding three of the Pharoah's treasures. After they have done so, the Sphinx mentions that a "guy in a suit" has been taking boxes out of the museum. Wario accidentally reveals himself as a thief and the Sphinx refuses to let them leave after solving three riddles. After Wario does so, the Sphinx tells him to leave before he alerts the guards. Before they left, Goodstyle asks of the location of the "guy in a suit" went and the Sphinx tells them "cave hidden by a perpetual blizzard." Goodstyle deduces this as Sneezemore Cave and he and Wario head out to the cave.

In-game description[]

The Sphinx works at the museum, but spends all of his time goofing off and asking dumb riddles of everyone he sees. Plus he never pulls OT.
