In The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Mario, Luigi and Pauline are included in this group of people. In the games Donkey Kong and Mario Bros., Mario, Luigi, and Pauline are all New Yorkers.
In Super Mario Odyssey, New Donkers are based on New Yorkers, as New Donk City is based on New York City. New Yorkers also appear in the Super Mario Bros. Super Show!
