Boo Repellent is an item in Mario Party 3.

Usage[]

A Boo Repellent can be obtained by either paying ten coins for it in Toad's Shop, winning it in an Item Mini-Game, receiving it for answering Toad's question, or receiving it via an Item Bag.

The victim player can use this item to scare away a Boo (when he is after their stars or coins). (That is when the player --who summoned a Boo-- summons a Boo from a Boo Bell.) The victim can spray gas at the Boo to scare him away and the Boo he does not steal anything from them. And the player --who summoned the Boo (from the Boo Bell)-- ends up wasting 5 coins (to steal coins) or 50 coins (to steal a star) for nothing.

This item --Boo Repellent-- was succeeded by the Gaddlight, Bone Capsule, and Boo-Away Orb (in Mario Party 4 through 6). However, the Chain Chomp Capsule (in Mario Party 5) replaces the Boo Bell and Boo's Crystal Ball (from Mario Party 2 through 4).
