Mana Spirits[]

The Mana Spirits of Mana Village were born shortly after the Cataclysm. They lead peaceful lives alongside the human residents of the village.

Moti[]

Moti is the mayor of Mana Village. He and Watts have known each other for a long time, and are good friends.

Millionaire[]

Main article: Millionaire

Millionaire is a Niccolo shopkeep, and the proprietor of Golden Goods. He was once a very successful businessman, but he lost everything in the Cataclysm. He frequently employs Wanderer, to whom he is something of a father figure, to assist him in his work.

Seamoon[]

Main article: Seamoon

Seamoon is a mermaid and the proprietress of the Silver Mermaid, the Mana Village shopping centre, as well as the person for whom it is (presumably) named. She can always be found in a bathtub in front of the entrance to the building. She offers gameplay advice to the player.

Pete[]

Pete is a young man of similar age to Ferrik and Wanderer. He can be alongside Nana at the Silver Mermaid, near Bomb Bros. R&D.

Nana[]

Nana is a young woman, similar in age to Tamber and Tess. Like Tess, she is a Mana maiden. She can be found alongside Pete at the Silver Mermaid.

Her lateness in offering prayers to the Goddess at the Mana Tower actually stops her from being trapped there due to the Mana Surge. She returns to the village with the news, leading the player character to mount a rescue attempt and beginning the game proper.

When Tess is captured by the Mana Lord, Nana takes her place as the Mana Spirit selection point.

Grampa Tony[]

An elderly man, he has been a (grand)father figure to the village children ever since the Cataclysm. It is assumed that he is the husband of Granny Hannah, though it is never outright stated. He is often found milling about near the village entrance.

During Poppen's introductory scene, Tony gives the boy some sweets after warning him away from the haunted house.

Granny Hannah[]

An elderly woman, she has been a (grand)mother figure to the village children ever since the Cataclysm. It is assumed that she is the wife of Grampa Tony, though it is never outright stated. She is often found in the Silver Mermaid, near Dud Services.

During the Cataclysm, Hannah was wounded by a beast. In Tamber's introductory scene, she receives herbs from the girl to soothe the pain from her injuries.

Watts[]

The king of Ishe, Watts occasionally visits Illusia Isle. He and Moti have known each other for a long time, and are good friends. He gives the player character the Gem Frame.
