“ Ah, yes... satisfaction. And what, indeed, would be more gratifying than seeing the ever-insubordinate Nick Logan for once pay the consequences of his rash actions? Your destruction of my EMP trump card now forces me to turn over some real estate in a more flamboyant fashion. I do, however... regret the severe loss of human breeding stock that will incur. Ah, well. Such is war. „
~ Wraith

Wraith is the main antagonist of the 1999 cartoon series Roswell Conspiracies: Aliens, Myths and Legends. He is a ruthless Shadoen agent posing as the leader of the alliance General James Rinaker who seeks to conquer the Earth.

He was voiced by L. Harvey Gold.

What Makes Him Magnificent?[]

  • Throughout the series flawlessly manipulated everyone in whatever way he needed.
  • Managed to hide his identity for the entire series.
  • Had spent decades meticulously pitting the alien races and humans against each other for his ultimate goal of having the Shadoen conquer Earth starting by murdering the Aliiance's second-in -command James Rinaker, assuming his identity, and framing Walter Logan for an alien safehouse attack.
  • Makes a deal with Lord Hanek to stop an threat to both groups before secretly betraying and killing him via employing his agents to do so.
  • When the Tribune tries to expose the Shadoen fleet, he destroys a defense that could've prevented an invasion by them before locking the Tribune away in the Alliance prison.
  • When a Shadoen spy is sent to keep tabs on him and eventually exposes himself, he manages to manipulate Logan into killing him while never revealing his secret.
  • When he feels Nick Logan is getting too close he quickly pulls up a convincing way to single him out as the traitor in the alliance.
  • Manages to nearly take down everyone that knows his secret with the bunker including Ms. Smith-Heisen and is only foiled thanks to something he couldn't have expected.
  • Even after his outing as a Shadoen he maintains his brilliance and charm managing to trick the Shadoen commanders into getting themselves killed so he can take over it.
  • When his plan to use the EMP to rend Earth's defenses useless fails thanks to Trueblood, he manages to quickly think of a backup plan to destroy most of humanity and conquer the Earth.
  • Nearly wins and is only stopped thanks to a last-second alliance between the humans and the various alien races that Wraith had spent decades tearing apart.
  • While Wraith is Pure Evil, his crimes never crosses into needlessly sadistic territory and he treats what he does as more of just business rather than being truly sadistic.

What Makes Him a Baddie?[]

  • Murdered James Rinaker and skinned his body to make a disguise for himself.
  • In the past framed Walter Logan for a bombing that killed numerous innocent aliens and trapped him in cryostasis.
  • Trapped at least two-hundred aliens in the Alliance's prison throughout the series.
  • Willing to put thousands of citizens in danger via torture, murder, and bombings, succeeding in killing at least dozens both directly and indirectly.
  • Has tried to kill Nick Logan multiple times when he becomes an issue.
  • Murders Ms. Smith-Heisen and Jefferson Trueblood when they discover his plans and try to stop him before trying to kill every Alliance member at once and take out half of New Mexico by blowing up the bunker.
  • Attempts to wipe out most of humanity by destroying the moon so the Shadoen can effortlessly conquer the rest after his EMP bomb plan to render Earth's defense systems useless failed.
  • Orders several Alliance ships to be destroyed when they try to stop the Shadoen fleet.
