What Makes Him Magnificent?[]
- Has a major tragic backstory as being the sole survivor of a plane crash that killed 184 of his classmates, and upon a painful and life endangering surgery to keep him alive, was abandoned by the Sibyl System who refused to acknowledge him as a person, and had no other person to ask for any sort of comfort or companionship as doing so will make them latent criminals, and generally had to fend for himself.
- Using his status as a collective being, he is able to have hundreds of holo-disguises based on aged up versions of his fallen classmates.
- Is a master of therapy, using this to calm down people with very clouded Psycho-Passes and lower their psycho-passes, or even cure a person's Eustress Deficiency Syndrome. This ends up earning a massive following with cult-like loyalty. He even uses this to be a therapist registered by the MWPSB, who was even Nobuchika Ginoza's therapist in Season 1 when he was an Inspector.
- Is genuinely affable. Even when taking out the eye of Inspector Mizue Shishue, he ensures she doens't feel any pain, sincerely apologizes and calms her down, clearing her hue, which earns her undying loyalty. Under the disguise of Ginoza's therapist, he actually pauses to advice Akane against lighting up cigarettes due to the nagative toll on her health.
- Using Akira Hitakawa, he sets up an explosion designed to not harm anyone to lure the MWPSB officials and then uses his therapist disguise to lower his crime coefficient and have him be let go to engineer his escape.
- Successfully kidnaps Inspector Shishue, calms her down and apologizes for taking out her eye and grafting it onto his body, to deceive her Dominator and grant access to this.
- Uses Shizue to lure Inspector Risa Aoyonagi to be a victim of a hostage situation, appearing as a pharmacist to play on Aoyonagi's pride and bait her into getting the resolve to kill the hostage taker, which leads to Aoyanagi getting a higher crime coefficient and executed by the Dominator, getting his answer to prove that Inspectors can be judged by the Dominators.
- Alters a video game update to control security drones, and lures MWPSB officials to a trap and have the players unknowingly decimate the MWPSB team for him.
- Forces the Sibyl System to use a back-up system and allow itself to be traced by Kamui.
- He is ultimately a well-intentioned extremist. he has no hard feelings against Sibyl and only wanted to use his suffering to motivate the Sibyl System to be more benevolent. Inspector Akane Tsunemori too understands Kamui's vision, and wants it to happen with much more peaceful methods upon Kamui's death.
- Upon entering the base of the Sibyl System, he ends up forcing the system to make itself liable to judgement so that Kamui himself can be executed, leading to the Sibyl System purging many of the members that they mistook for being criminally asymptomatic. Once executed, Kamui only dies with a smile on how much progress he made
