File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:WMDO-CD (2021).png. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.

If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.

Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next seven days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Mvcg66b3r (talk) 19:10, 27 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

March 2024

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on WFDC-DT. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. You keep using unlicensed, unsourced logos in your edits. Didn't you read the earlier notices? Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at KFRE-TV. You "thank" me for my edit, then you revert to your old edit. What gives? Mvcg66b3r (talk) 03:12, 29 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did at User talk:LeeWeathers1986AV, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. Thank you. Use of the thank feature

[edit]

Could I suggest you don't use the thank feature in future, as you seem to be over-using it and this could be seen as passive-aggressive. PhilKnight (talk) 19:36, 29 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

They just started using it again, three times thanking me for edits on KOLO-TV. Mvcg66b3r (talk) 01:43, 30 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Marking edits as minor

[edit]

Information icon Hi LeeWeathers1986AV! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. PhilKnight (talk) 19:49, 29 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Una familia con Ángel, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Daniel Martinez. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Orphaned non-free image File:EarlyToday2024.webp

[edit]
⚠

Thanks for uploading File:EarlyToday2024.webp. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:13, 15 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked temporarily from editing because of your persistent unconstructive and uncooperative editing, including, but not restricted to, the following. You have persisted in uploading files without providing the necessary copyright information, despite having received numerous messages about doing so, over a period of months. You have repeatedly edit-warred; for example, on the article Iris Menas you have been conducting a slow edit-war from November 2023 through to June 2024. You have persisted in abusing Wikipedia's "Thank" facility, despite having been blocked for a while from doing so. You have never made any response to any talk page message, nor shown any sign of taking note of or acting on what has been said to you. That is despite the fact that you have certainly seen the messages on this page, as you have removed several of them. The block is at present for three months, but if you continue with unconstructive and uncooperative editing, you are likely to be blocked for much longer, perhaps indefinitely. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  JBW (talk) 09:47, 10 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:52, 19 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
