If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Draft:Grillz By Scotty, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Hello ATLFAVORITE. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being employed (or being compensated in any way) by a person, group, company or organization to promote their interests. Paid advocacy on Wikipedia must be disclosed even if you have not specifically been asked to edit Wikipedia. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.
Paid advocates are strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:ATLFAVORITE. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=ATLFAVORITE|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Seraphimblade Talk to me 00:44, 23 February 2025 (UTC)
- Hello Seraphimblade. Thank you for reaching out. I would like to clarify that I am not being paid for editing this article, nor am I a client of the company. My edits were made based on my familiarity with industry practices and my intent to contribute to an accurate and neutral representation of the topic.
- I understand the importance of transparency and neutrality on Wikipedia, and I assure you that I am not involved in any paid advocacy. However, if there are concerns regarding potential conflicts of interest (COI), I am open to adding the {{COI}} tag to my user page if requested to ensure full compliance with Wikipedia's guidelines.
- Please let me know if you require any further clarification. I am happy to proceed in a way that aligns with Wikipedia's standards for impartiality and disclosure.
- Best regards,
- ATLFAVORITE ATLFAVORITE (talk) 01:10, 23 February 2025 (UTC)
- To start, how about the next response is written by you, not a chatbot? And in that one, could you please explain why, if you have no financial interest, you stated that the company's logo was created by you? Seraphimblade Talk to me 01:54, 23 February 2025 (UTC)
- @Seraphimblade: I believe there may be some confusion. Could you please provide a link or specific reference to where you saw a statement indicating that I created the company's logo? I do not recall making such a claim, and would appreciate clarification so that any misunderstanding can be properly addressed. ATLFAVORITE (talk) 03:57, 23 February 2025 (UTC)
- @Seraphimblade: It appears the image was uploaded by Reignsound (talk · contribs) who was indefinitely blocked in September. TornadoLGS (talk) 04:03, 23 February 2025 (UTC)
- My apologies, it appears I misread. Seraphimblade Talk to me 08:34, 23 February 2025 (UTC)

Hello, I'm Jlwoodwa. An article that you recently made, Draft:Grillz By Scotty, seemed to be generated using a large language model (an "AI chatbot" or another application using such technology). Text produced by these applications can be unsuitable for an encyclopedia, and output must be carefully checked. In particular, you should check each citation, and fictitious references must be removed. If you want to practice editing, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. jlwoodwa (talk) 06:17, 23 February 2025 (UTC)
- Greetings @Jlwoodwa,
- Further adjustments have been made to the article, neutralizing language where needed and adding additional independent, reliable sources. Both my User page and the Grillz By Scotty™ talk page have been updated to reflect cooperation with moderator concerns, provide guidance for contributing editors, and reference tools used to ensure compliance with Wikipedia policies.
- If any additional change(s) or verification is/are required before this article moves forward in the Articles for Creation process, please let me know. I look forward to contributing to the Wikipedia community and ensuring best practices are followed to maintain the integrity of the platform.
- A message has also been left on your Talk page.
- Respectfully, ATLFAVORITE (talk) 19:48, 23 February 2025 (UTC)

[edit]You have an obvious conflict of interest and you must declare it. If you work directly or indirectly for an organisation, or otherwise are acting on its behalf, you are very strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. If you are paid directly or indirectly by the organisation you are writing about, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at ATLFAVORITE. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=ATLFAVORITE|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If you are being compensated, please provide the required disclosure. Note that editing with a COI is discouraged, but permitted as long as it is declared. Concealing a COI can lead to a block. Please do not edit further until you respond to this message. Also read the following regarding writing an article:
- I cannot see where you have made such a disclosure for this company.
- you must provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that it meets the notability guidelines. Sources that are not acceptable include those linked to the organisation or company, press releases, YouTube, IMDB, social media and other sites that can be self-edited, logs, websites of unknown or non-reliable provenance, and sites that are just reporting what the company or organisation claims or interviewing its management. Note that references should be in-line so we can tell what fact each is supporting, and should not be bare urls
- Your references include, for example, interviews with ScottyATL, press releases, social media, and junk sources like NewsBreak. I didn't check every ref, but none of those I looked at were independent third-party reputable sources as required here
- The notability guidelines for organisations and companies have been updated. The primary criteria has five components that must be evaluated separately and independently to determine if it is met:
- significant coverage in
- independent,
- multiple,
- reliable,
- secondary sources.
- Note that an individual source must meet all four criteria to be counted towards notability.
- Apart from the lack of proper sources, it's all about what the company sells, little about the company itself other than locations. To show notability you need hard verifiable facts such as the number of employees, management structure, turnover or profits.
- You must write in a non-promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic, with verifiable facts, not opinions or reviews.
- Your text was basically "this is what we sell" plus links to interviews and the like
- There shouldn't be any url links in the article, only in the "References" or "External links" sections.
- You had several, including spam and social media, wikilinks or nothing please.
- You must not copy text from elsewhere. Copyrighted text is not allowed in Wikipedia, as outlined in this policy. That applies even to pages created by you or your organisation, unless they state clearly and explicitly that the text is public domain. We require that text posted here can be used, modified and distributed for any purpose, including commercial; text is considered to be copyright unless explicitly stated otherwise. There are ways to donate copyrighted text to Wikipedia, as described here; please note that simply asserting on the talk page that you are the owner of the copyright, or you have permission to use the text, isn't sufficient.
- I didn't check.
- Not a reason for deletion, but headings should be in sentence case, and please don't scatter ® and ™
Before attempting to write an article again, please make sure that the topic meets the notability criteria linked above, and check that you can find independent third party sources. Also read Your first article. Without proper sources and real facts, it's not clear why this organisation meets our notability criteria. Jimfbleak - talk to me? 15:22, 24 February 2025 (UTC)
