MV Helluntangi was was general cargo ship flaged to Faroe Islands. It beached by storm Faroe islands waters, probably on southern coast of Vagar island on April 6 2021 or earlier.
The ship was commisioned 1986 by Gebroeders Buys - Krimpen a/d Yssel. The vessel was completely rebuilt and outfitted with feeding barge designated for fish farms in 2019 by Poltramp Yard S.A. in Świnoujście, Poland.[1] The ship was used as a fish farm support vessel with homeport Miðvágur. Owner was P/f Luna in Sandavágur.[2]
