Stephen Holland, M.D.

I am a gastroenterologist. My CV is online on my business website, http://www.napervillegi.com. In a nutshell, I went to medical school at Northwestern in Chicago, did internal medicine at Loyola in Chicago (well, Maywood) and then GI research and Fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. I was in research a few years in Crohn's and Colitis research, then went into private practice after a few years more. I last was Chief of Gastroenterology at Mt. Sinai Hospital, Chicago. I am now an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield Illinois, working in Decatur, Illinois.

Wife, three kids, a dog, a toad.(11 June 2004), a toad (July 2004), another toad, a goldfish (June 2005), a hamster (Jan 2006), a Betta (Feb 2006), a hedgehog, a goldfish and two dogs a dog.

The name KD4TTC is my amateur radio call sign.

I have identified myself as a physician interested in advancing the medical articles on Wikipedia. There is a formal group in the community for that, known as Wikidoc. Discussion of that is at WT:MED
