The Sintra was an MPV sold by General Motors in Europe, badged as an Opel, except in the UK, where it was badged as a Vauxhall. It was produced in the US, where it was sold as a Chevrolet model known as the Venture.

Released in 1996, the Sintra proved unpopular in Europe, and its image was also adversely affected by reports of its poor results in crash safety tests. It was dropped in 1999, and was replaced by the Zafira, based on the Opel/Vauxhall Astra.
