Krusty O's
[edit]The picture of a bowl of Krusty O's is original research and should be deleted.
NO. Anybody could open a box of Krusty O's and see what's inside. The picture takes that burden off of those who don't want to hunt down a box. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 216.178.50.77 (talk) 17:08, August 21, 2007 (UTC)
Not sure of status of Coquitlam Kwik E Mart.
[edit]I went there today (july 2, 2007) and they had the Krusty 0's Buzz cola, stickers on the glass, and some promotional stuff in the store, but the outer sign still said 7-Eleven and the outside had not been changed. It was announced on Rock 101 that Coquitlam was converted, but I'm not sure if it's official, or if all 7-Eleven's will have a few simpsons promotional stickers like this store does. The Coquitlam store is not in the list provided by 7-Eleven http://www.7-eleven.com/kem.asp
- According to CTV, the official location was announced this morning. -- Scorpion0422 14:26, 3 July 2007 (UTC)
- Yay, it's official now. I suspected that news agencies may have used wiki as a source, and there's a possiblity of wiki-news-wiki-news feedback loop.
Images
[edit]The images that were under the 7 Eleven pormotion were removed. Can we put a gallery up? Superjustinbros. 15:49, 22 July 2007 (UTC)
- Why? One image can easily illustrate what the changed Kwik-E-Mart's look like. If people want other images, they can use Google. If you're referring to the produc images, they were all fair use. -- Scorpion0422 16:53, 22 July 2007 (UTC)

Image gallery
[edit]An image gallery is HIGHLY unnecessary, because Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not an extension of myspace, facebook or Imageshack. Two images are more than sufficient. Why those two? 1) They look better than the others and more importantly, 2) They were uploaded first. -- Scorpion0422 16:02, 4 August 2007 (UTC)
- I reiterate, there is no need for a gallery. -- Scorpion0422 04:01, 5 August 2007 (UTC)
- The Krusty-O's picture was taken from a website without permission or any informayion of who took the picture, etc.. There is no harm in having a gallery, people shouldn't have to go searching, especially on another website that is detracting visitors from Wikipedia since you are reccomending people to search on Google, also, it shouldn't matter when the pictures were uploaded. The fact is, is that the pictures cannot be replaced in the future, since the promotion has ended for 7-Eleven, these products do not exist anymore, these stores are not disguised as Kwik-E-Marts anymore. They're 7-Elevens.CoolKid1993 04:04, 5 August 2007 (UTC)
- Only one image of an actual Kwik-E-Mart is more than sufficient, and why SHOULD the products be here? You don't see images of Coca Cola and Doritos on the 7-Eleven page. They are a part of the List of products, so that should be enough. Like I said, Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not an image gallery. -- Scorpion0422 04:08, 5 August 2007 (UTC)
- So images with an unknown copyright status are okay to upload? The Simpsons promotion was a franchise. When Doritos wants to reenovate 7-Elevens to resemble a big bag of chips and sell numerous items in the taste of Doritos, I'm sure that a gallery would be added to the Doritos article, not the 7-Eleven article. Which is exactly what I am doing.CoolKid1993 04:20, 5 August 2007 (UTC)
- Exactly, you would show them at the product page, not the store. And, the images ARE on the product page, so they don't need to be here. -- Scorpion0422 04:23, 5 August 2007 (UTC)

History
[edit]There is something seriously wrong with the History segment. Most of it are recited jokes from the Simpsons, many even include the punchline! (what do you do if someone wants a non-alcoholic beer? to which Apu replies "you know, it has never come up") That is just pointless. --BiT 14:44, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

GA Nominee
[edit]This article's Good Article promotion has been put on hold. During review, some issues were discovered that can be resolved without a major re-write. This is how the article, compares against the six good article criteria:
- Well written?:
- Images?: The deficiency of images is not a step/criteria of fall. Anyway, the images have a very good quality and a Fair Use Rationale template.
Could you be a tad more specific about what needs to be fixed? -- Scorpion0422 13:20, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
- The article needs a little more of coverage, (just wondering if you could add more info).
If not, the article will become a GA. Macy's123 02:54, 22 November 2007 (UTC)
- What kind of coverage? More coverage of the 7-Eleven promotion or more about the creation of it? -- Scorpion0422 03:16, 22 November 2007 (UTC)
- I think that's enough information. I am glad to report that this article nomination for good article status has been promoted. Macy's123 18:51, 24 November 2007 (UTC)
Location mix-up
[edit]Should it be noted somewhere that in the episode where the city split into two groups because of the area cod incident, the Kwik-E-mart was located on the 636 side but in the SIpson's hit and run game it was located on the 939 side?203.29.161.21 (talk) 01:37, 20 January 2008 (UTC)ontributions/203.29.161.21|203.29.161.21]] (talk) 01:36, 20 January 2008 (UTC)

Who won the competition?
[edit]The article says: "The grand prize of the contest was to be animated into an episode of The Simpsons." Who won, and which episode can they be seen in? Equinox ◑ 16:28, 17 March 2019 (UTC)
