Johannes Magnus, before 1530 Johannes Magni, born 19 Mar, 1488 in Linköping, Sweden, dead 22 mars 1544. Son of Måns Petersson och Kristina. The last catholic Archbishop in Sweden. Was a theologist, genelogist and historic.

Was an Archbishop 1523-1528, but by the time he became one, the Swedish King had alreade declared Sweden to be Lutheran, and dismissed catholicism.
