Ziad Baroud (Template:Lang-ar, born in 1970) is a Lebanese lawyer and prominent civil society activist. He is currently the Minister of Interior and Municipalities in Fouad Siniora's government. Baroud is married to Linda Karam and they have one son, Theo-Raphael.^[1]

Baroud was born to a Maronite family from Jeita, Keserwan. His father Salim is a mathematics teacher and his mother an Arabic literature teacher. He completed his education at Collège St Joseph private school in Aintoura and attended the Faculty of Law at the Saint Joseph University in Beirut. He was admitted to Bar in 1993. He performed his training in Minister of Justice Ibrahim Najjar's law firm then created his own law firm HBDT in 2003.^[2]
