Fein
Fein (Japanese: フェイク Fake) is a Cipher Peon who appears in Pokémon Colosseum. He is encountered after Wes has snagged 47 of the 48 Shadow Pokémon in the game. A series of emails on Wes's P★DA regarding his attacking people (most notably, Athlete Dash in Phenac City) with a Shadow Togetic, leads Wes to Outskirt Stand where he encounters an impostor of himself, dressed to look identical to him down to the very last feature. He is known as Shady Guy during battle, and his name will be the same as the player character's own.
Upon being defeated, he reveals himself to be Fein, a Cipher Peon and a master of disguise. He wanted to tarnish Wes's reputation around Orre; while he partially succeeds in making Wes unpopular with some of Phenac City's citizens for a short while, after watching the next TV broadcast, the citizens forgive Wes, realizing it was an impostor who did it and not Wes himself. Fein serves as the final boss battle of Pokémon Colosseum's post-game.
Fein can be rebattled until his Shadow Togetic is snagged and he is beaten, after which he will vanish for good. When viewing the Snag List entry for Togetic, his Trainer class is listed as Fake Hero.

Quotes
- Before battle
- "Fufufu! The resemblance is uncanny, hey? You are me, and I am you, and we are all together here. I can see that you don't understand. But there is one thing certain! You're going to battle me!"
- Being defeated
- "It would take me to do it. Good going."
- After being defeated
- "My name is Fein! I am the master of disguise! How do you like the job I did? Your reputation's totally trashed! Mwahahahah!"
Trivia
- When the player rematches a Cipher Admin or Gonzap, if that person's Shadow Pokémon was snagged in one of the last matches, that person will use a replacement Pokémon. Excluding his Shadow Togetic, all of Fein's Pokémon are those replacements.
- Before he is battled, Fein will make a reference to the line "I am he as you are he as you are me and we are all together" from The Beatles song I Am the Walrus.
- Fein's English name comes from "feign," meaning to give a false appearance, referring to how he masqueraded as the player.
