Arctibax freezes the air around it, protecting its face with an ice mask and turning its dorsal fin into a blade of ice.

Release information

This card was included as both a Regular card and a Full Art illustration rare card in the Paldea Evolved expansion, first released in the Japanese Snow Hazard expansion. The Regular print features artwork by Kouki Saitou, while the Full Art illustration rare print features artwork by Tomokazu Komiya.

This card was reprinted as a Cosmos Holofoil SVP Black Star Promo with artwork by Teeziro and was available in the Paradox Rift Three Pack Blisters from November 3, 2023. In Japan, this print was one of the seven SV-P Promotional cards available in the Pokémon Card Gym Promo Card Pack 2, which was distributed at Pokémon Card Gym venues able to do so from April 14, 2023.[1] The Japanese print features the Pokémon Card Gym logo.

The Paldea Evolved Regular print was reprinted, alongside a new print with artwork by Kouki Saitou featuring the Shiny version of Arctibax, in the Japanese Shiny Treasure ex subset. The Shiny print was later released outside Asia in the special Paldean Fates expansion. The Regular print was reprinted again in the Japanese Battle Master Deck Chien-Pao ex.
